Clayton Scott is the
Poet Laureate of Fayetteville,
Arkansas.  He has an MFA in
Education from Southeastern  
Oklahoma State University
where he graduated Magna
Cum Laude.  He has won
poetry contests and awards as
well as ranked in the top 10%
of slam poets in the US and
Canada.  His conferences on
writing and presentation have
won rave reviews.
From Springdale, Arkansas,
western writer and author of
more than forty novels and
hundreds of newspaper
articles.  Dusty's book, "The
Natural", received best book
fiction award at the Oklahoma
Writers Federation.  Recently
signed a two-book series
contract with Penguin and has
a new book deal with Pocket
books for three books on a
western lawman series of his
own.  Dusty is the 2007 Spur
Award Winner for his novel
The Horse Creek Incident and
his short story on Amazon
entitled "Comanche Moon".
Allison Denman Holland
Allison Holland has been a teaching
professional for over 30 years.  As a
regular presenter at national and
international conferences on nonfiction
writing, her greatest inspiration is
historical research, and her searches
have led to the recovery of 3 previously
lost silent movies that are now housed
at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts
and Sciences in Los Angeles, California.
 Her current writing includes in-depth
oral histories of recipients of the
Distinguished Flying Cross and the
preservation of correspondence and
personal histories of veterans of World
War II.
Important Information

Dusty Richards will be available during the conference to review new
manuscripts.  Dusty, two-time Spur Award winner, will be doing fifteen (15)
minute critiques of conference attendees' manuscripts like a real literary agent.  
Bring five (5) pages of your manuscript, standard format. During the first three
(3) minutes you will pitch your story plot in a professional demeanor and dress. Be
prepared to put your best foot forward.  After the pitch, Dusty will read the five
pages and give you a quality assessment to improve your writing technique.
